Made these to have at breakfast this week. Don’t normally like the texture of oats but did really like this and was easy to make. Will have them again

I enjoyed this but was disappointed that my protein didn't come out the same. I omitted the chocolate chips and added 40g Greek yoghurt but it only came out at 9.4g protein on the 12 x app. Where have I gone wrong?

I wonder if it should have any protein powder in it as that would bring the protein amount up?

Hi Michelle, it does have a scoop of protein powder in the ingredients and method ?

Hi Fraz, I have done this again and I love it. I have added the protein that I completely missed doing it the first time and I still only get 12.6g of protein. Help please where am I going wrong as this recipe says 37g of protein. I am milk intolerant so use a pea protein powder could this be having an impact? TIA

Hi Michelle. One scoop of protein powder , depending on brand , ranges from 20-30g of protein so i’m not sure why you are getting 12g of protein ? Pea protein is 15-20g so again not sure where you are getting your number from

Hi Fraz, I have done this for one person so only used 7.5g of pea protein added all the ingredients into the 12x app and this includes my greek yoghurt that I have with it. In the nutrition part it says 37g of protein per serving which is for 1 if I have read that correctly. I am obviously missing something or doing it incorrectly so apologies for asking so many questions. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Is there meant to be an egg in this recipe to make it cook with the oats? I’ve cooked and followed the recipe and it’s still mushy, I’ve had to put it back in the oven to cook for longer, for them to be a banana bread consistency.

Hi Rebecca , nope not meant to have an egg in this recipe . If using an airfryer then it will depend on wattage etc as to why it may have needed longer

The ingredients state 4 bananas but you’ve only added half each in the video. 4 or 2? Thanks

You can customise how many servings you want Jane . In the video i’m making for 2 people over 2 days so 2 bananas . If making for 4 people it would be 4 bananas but entirely your choice

What is the topping? It's not showing on list of ingredients? Yogurt? May be stupid question. But method only has cooking instructions. So is the method just whack it in a bowl and mix before cooking?

the topping can be whatever you like Emma .I think Fraser has used fat free yoghurt with sauce . The video shows the method too that’s what i’ve done previously

Not sure if it’s just a glitch on mines but the recipe option for amount of servings is off as it’s saying only 10g of oats for one serving? Doesn’t match up with the macros. Can you confirm if this is a glitch on mines or the app that needs fixed? Thanks
