Just had to try and make this recipe today. Started it this morning before going out to play golf and a few other bits. Arrived home, demolished the ham hock before sitting down to a bowlful. Fraz you have done it again. Wonderful flavour, both the wife and I really enjoyed it. Currently waiting for it to cool so the rest can be placed into bags and frozen.

Had a notion for this for the last week ...this is the makings of the pea and ham soup ..lunch today and tomorrow sorted

No I put it all in the Ninja foodi on slow cook high for 10 hours added extra liquid after about 7 hrs..
