Recommendations are obviously personal but i use optimum nutrition . Myprotein also do a good protein / whey powder and are available in sample packs so you can see which one you prefer

I do this on the same day and it works just fine! 😋 I’m not keen on the taste of vanilla protein so usually use plain whey and I sub the chocolate for a dribble of caramel.
